On this week’s episode of the KBS show “Win Win“, Park Jin-young revealed the reason whyLee Gi-kwang had to debut under a different company.
Park Jin-young stated, “When I first saw Lee Gi-kwang, I thought he was so talented. However, he had one flaw. He knew he was talented.” Park Jin-young went on to explain that Lee Gi-kwang wasn’t arrogant but he simply knew he was good. Park Jin-young said that in order to improve and become better at something, you can’t be satisfied with your abilities, but Gi-kwangknew that he was good at singing and dancing already, as a trainee.” The producer/singer stated that he heard the Gi-kwang works hard these days and wanted to tell him that he is proud of him before the recording of “Win Win” started.
People say everything happens for a reason. Maybe Gi-kwang was meant to leave JYP to debut as a member of B2ST. Can you imagine B2ST without Gi-kwang. Better yet, can you imagine Gi-kwang as a member of 2AM or 2PM?
