First “JYP Nation – Team Play” concert delivers explosive performances!

Park Jin Young, Wonder Girls2PMmiss AJOOSan E and Lim Jeong Hee rallied together to deliver a knock-out collaboration concert titled, ”JYP Nation – Team Play“.
Though 2AM wasn’t present for the event (they had their own solo concert on the same day), the remaining JYPE artists still rocked the house at Seoul’s Olympic Gymnastics Stadium.
It was not only a chance to catch the rarely seen Wonder Girls back on their home turf, but it was also an opportunity to witness JYPE artists performing each other’s songs.
Including the encore stage, JYP Nation performed a total of 27 songs. The only time when artists sang their own songs was during the Wonder Girls’ “2 Different Tears“, 2PM’s ‘I Hate You‘, and Lim Jeong Hee’s ‘It Can’t Be Real‘.
The other 23 songs were collaborations that challenged the limits of gender in performances.

The concert started with San E’s ‘Tasty San‘, which featured special backup dancers: So HeeSun Ye, and miss A’s Jia and Fei shook their booties to San E’s powerful raps. So Hee and Sunye later replaced Min and Suzy for a performance of ‘Breathe’ with Jia and Fei.
The male singers did remarkably well covering songs from their female labelmates. 2PM’s Chansungand San E participated in ‘So Hot‘, while 2PM’s JunhoTaecyeon, and Nichkhun covered miss A’s ‘Bad Girl Good Girl‘ with JYP. Fans screamed as the boys delivered perfectly coy poses and sexy bootypoppin’.
However, the female JYP singers surpassed their male counterparts in terms of charisma. Wonder Girls’Ye EunYubin, Sohee, Sunye, and Miss A’s Fei and Jia became a female 2PM. Performing “Heartbeat“, their dance and facial expressions were powerful and charismatic; the ‘human pyramid’ dance was especially impressive as the female singers completed the top half of the pyramid, while the men supported them from below.

With remixes of original songs, the concert became even more heated. 2PM’s ‘Without U‘ was changed into a sensual tango which partnered up Taecyeon, Chansung, Junho, and Nichkhun with Ye Eun, Yubin, Fei, and JOO.
During JYP’s ‘The House You Live In‘, Chansung and Wooyoung teamed up with Ye Eun and JOO to musically act out the parts of couples breaking up and regretting.
To blow it up even further, former JYPE singers Rain and g.o.d’s Son Ho Young and Kim Tae Woojoined JYP Nation as special guests.
Son Ho Young and Kim Tae Woo brought back g.o.d’s hit songs with 2PM and the Wonder Girls, while Rain surprised the audience with a cameo during JYP’s ‘I Have a Woman‘. Rain also performed ‘It’s Raining‘ with 2PM as his dancers.

JYP Nation united to sing JYP’s ‘Don’t Leave Me‘ together, and ended the concert with an encore of JYP Nation’s first Christmas carol, ‘This Christmas‘.
This was JYP Entertainment’s first collaboration concert, despite the agency being founded 10 years ago. ‘JYP Nation Team Play’ provided 2.5 hours of non-stop entertainment and gave its 12,000-member audience a Christmas gift that they’ll never forget.

Also, just because the ‘JYP Nation’ concert ended didn’t mean that it was a wrap for JYP.
As soon as the last notes of the encore rang out, JYP immediately proceeded with his “Bad Party – The Dancer” concert, which was held at the same venue. For being 39 years old, he’s got an indefatigable amount of stamina!

bruno mars - grenade lyrics

bruno mars - grenade

Easy come, easy go
That's just how you live, oh
Take, take, take it all,
But you never give
Should of known you was trouble from the first kiss, Had your eyes wide open -
Why were they open?
Gave you all I had
And you tossed it in the trash
You tossed it in the trash, you did
To give me all your love is all I ever asked, Cause what you don't understand is
I’d catch a grenade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Throw my hand on a blade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
I’d jump in front of a train for ya (yeah, yeah , yeah)
You know I'd do anything for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah) Oh, oh
I would go through all this pain, Take a bullet straight through my brain,
Yes, I would die for ya baby ; But you won't do the same

No, no, no, no
Black, black, black and blue beat me till I'm numb Tell the devil I said “hey” when you get back to where you're from
Mad woman, bad woman,
That's just what you are, yeah,
You’ll smile in my face then rip the breaks out my car
Gave you all I had

And you tossed it in the trash
You tossed it in the trash, yes you did
To give me all your love is all I ever asked Cause what you don't understand is
I’d catch a grenade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Throw my hand on a blade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
I’d jump in front of a train for ya (yeah, yeah , yeah)
You know I'd do anything for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah) Oh, oh
I would go through all this pain, Take a bullet straight through my brain,
Yes, I would die for ya baby ; But you won't do the same

If my body was on fire, ooh You’ d watch me burn down in flames You said you loved me you're a liar Cause you never, ever, ever did baby...
But darling I’ll still catch a grenade for ya
Throw my hand on a blade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
I’d jump in front of a train for ya (yeah, yeah , yeah)
You know I'd do anything for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah) Oh, oh
I would go through all this pain, Take a bullet straight through my brain,
Yes, I would die for ya baby ; But you won't do the same.
No, you won’t do the same,
You wouldn’t do the same,
Ooh, you’ll never do the same,
No, no, no, no

Kim Hyun-Joong Cancels All His Activities….

for his upcoming  trip to Taiwan.

On December 11th, POPSEOUL informed you about the upcoming “Playful Kiss” promotion trip in Taiwan with Kim Hyun-joong and Jung So-min. Well, yesterday the entire event was cancelled.
Kim Hyun-joong’s current health situation is the reason.
Below is what his company, KEYEAST, stated to the press:
“Unfortunately, Kim Hyun Joong is not in good health lately, leading us to cancel his schedule in Taiwan. It seems like his body has not been able to keep up with his busy overseas schedules. Although the event wasn’t confirmed, he’s still very disappointed with the decision. Since good health is a priority, he will be resting for the time being. It is not anything serious, so fans need not worry.”
The singer/actor did send autographed posters for fans who would have attended the fanmeeting. Also, he agreed to record a video for them so he can greet his overseas supporters.
In the meantime, Hyun-joong will stay put in Korea. His hectic schedule is cleared through Christmas.

B2ST’s third unit (consisting of Hyunseung and Kikwang) has finally revealed their duet track teaser, “Let It Snow,” on the morning of December 23rd.
A part of the group’s digital album, “My Story,” the song follows the releases of Doojoon &Dongwoon’s “When This Door Closes” and Junhyung & Yoseob’s “Thanks to.”
As both songs are currently ranking in on major music charts, many are expecting “Let It Snow” (a sexy pop ballad) to do just as well as the two other units.

Fair Trade Commission forces SM Entertainment to revise unfair contracts

SM Entertainment received a firm order from the Fair Trade Commission to revise the unfair contracts which bind SNSDSuper JuniorSHINee, and many others to them.
On December 23rd, the Fair Trade Commission stated, “We gave them a warning to voluntarily correct the unfair exclusive contracts that their celebrities and trainees have signed. [SME] is to reduce all contract lengths by three years.
This decision by the FTC was based off of a complaint made by TVXQ’s fanclub, Cassiopeia. The group alleged that SM Entertainment was using their status to pressure a disadvantaged (’slave’) contract onto TVXQ.
SM Entertainment’s violation, as disclosed by the FTC, lies in the unfair contract conditions. These conditions included forcing artists to sign on for a long period of time, an excessive penalty provision for breach of contract, and a one-sided scheduling of activities. There’s also a clause that allows SME to extend contracts for overseas activities without first consulting the artist in question.
According to the FTC, these contracts from SME would run ‘for 13 years starting from the day of signing‘ or ‘exceeding 10 years from the day of debut.’  In compliance with the FTC, however, SM Entertainment changed their contracts to ‘seven years from the day of debut.’
If the artists decided to terminate their contract prematurely, they were subject to heavy penalties. Artists were forced to pay three times the investment amount, plus two times the amount the artist was to have made during the entire length of the contract. In short, even though the contract was terminated, these artist would have to pay double the amount of money they would have made in ‘x’ years left.
Because of the FTC order, however, this was changed to artists now paying an average monthly sales of two years before the contract termination, multiplied by the number of months in the remaining period.
The entire clause allowing activities to be scheduled without the artist’s consent has also been removed. It has been replaced with, “All celebrities of SM Entertainment may include their opinion at any point and ask for the appropriate document copies regarding their career from SM. SM has the right to refuse should the request be unjust.”
This new revision is expected to make an influence on JYJ’s case as well.
